School Fees

Government Funding

As a Catholic School we are only partially funded by the Federal and State Governments. As such we ask parents to make a contribution to the running costs of the school through the payment of school fees. We are fortunate to belong to a system where larger schools subsidise smaller schools and therefore school fees are kept to a minimum.

Trinity School Fees

2017 Trinity Catholic Primary School Fees

There are two components to school fees; the Tuition fees and the school levies. The Tuition fee is paid directly to the Catholic Education Office and contributes to the payment of wages and capital works within schools. The school levies are kept at the school and are used to cover the day to day running costs of the school as well as purchasing equipment and resources. School fee accounts are posted to all families at the commencement of each term. The tuition fee is a family fee and is the same whether there is one child or four enrolled at Trinity. The school levies may be both family fees and per student fees.

The Community Council set the fees for each year in the last term of the previous year. The Council will take into account the needs of the school and the general economic situation.

School fees may be paid at any time throughout the year, however for accounting purposes, four term accounts will be issued. The school fees may be paid in cash, by cheque, credit card, BPay or by direct debit.

Inability to pay school fees does not exclude your child from a Catholic Education. If you have difficulty in meeting the fees, an approach to the Principal should be made without delay where special arrangements can be made.

If a family makes no effort to contact the school about unpaid fees, and does not reply to correspondence, the school will refer the matter to a debt collection agency. While inability to meet financial obligations is sympathetically treated, refusal to meet them is not.

The Archdiocesan Catholic school system has a particular responsibility to welcome, accept and support those who are poor, marginalised and in most need. Our conviction is that no student will be refused enrolment or be disadvantaged because of an inability on the part of parents/guardians to meet financial requirements.

Service Levy

A General Service Levy is charged once per term and includes allowances for the following:

  1. updating of classroom computer equipment

  2. purchase/replacement of classroom sports equipment

  3. art and craft materials

  4. cardboard, glue, paper for classrooms etc.

  5. library upkeep

  6. replacement and upkeep of reading materials

  7. duplicating paper and associated photocopying costs.

Families experiencing difficulties paying the service fee or any fee payment are asked to contact the Principal.
